Hydroponics Expansion

Last spring Mark bought a second grow tent to start seedlings for our backyard garden. This tent was narrower than the first one, only 4×4 feet. He sold several of his young pepper plants to coworkers and neighbors, which covered the cost of the second tent. This year he’s bought a third tent, another 4×8, so he can try several planting and watering experiments concurrently while still growing spring seedlings for our garden and for sale. The basement is starting to feel more like a botanical garden at this point. But with it being cold and wintery outside, having a sunny, humid and lushly vegetated basement seems like a wonderful secret garden.
