Keep it in your drawers

Let me tell you, one of my favorite upgrades we’ve done to this kitchen is a set of drawers Mark built for a cabinet that had been tragically underutilized. Aside from storing the slow cooker and the odd boy, this cabinet wasn’t getting much use. And this was all the more sad for it’s central location and excellent size, and doors opening on both sides of the peninsula.

And so to this empty cabinet, we said goodbye.

Look at all this glorious storage! I know its just plywood, but I think is beautiful. The boys were a little sad to lose the play space, but I’m sure they’ll find something new to occupy themselves in about 30 seconds.
