Hydroponics at home
Mark's been working on a hydroponic vegetable garden in our basement. He's using a tent to control the humidity, nutrient enriched water running through a self made plumbing system, and LED lights on timers. So far the results have been delicious.

We had to cut down a maple tree in our yard because it was sick and hollow inside, but quite lovely all the same.

Townhomestead turns Homestead
We have leveled up from townhomers to home owners! Our townhouse has been replaced by a piece of real American suburbia, an actual, stand alone, real back yard sort of house! We’ll keep the Townhomestead name but you should know it’s a bit of a misnomer these days.
Dino baby quilt
I made a dinosaur themed baby quilt for my friends’ new baby boy. The backing material is blue minky so it’s very soft. The binding is blue satin ribbon.
Cubical upgrade
Added some color to my work cube by adding maple wood contact paper to the cabinets and teal wrapping paper to the walls. Mark custom cut me some maple wood for the work surface.
Articulating baby gate
With our little one being mobile now we needed a way to keep him off the stairs. Most baby gates didn't fit well on our stairs because the railing wasn't squared off.
