Hogwarts Rainbow quilt

I found some great Hogwarts house fabrics at the quilt expo but they only had a few fat quarters, not enough to do a whole quilt. I worked them into a larger rainbow pattern so they would add visual interest, but not be the first thing you noticed. I used a staggered rainbow so each row is not identical, the transition from one color to another shifts slightly, which allowed me to use the various quantities of colored fabrics I found. This is probably the biggest quilt I’ve made and also the brightest.
